Capabilities[]
Users can raise temperature, often resulting in combustion. Some may have the ability to direct fire itself in a telekinetic manner. Can generate fire streams by releasing an intense blast of heat, which ignites the air in front of it. Users are often able to prevent fire, but this is not always the case.
Limitations[]
- May be limited to only the creation of flame.
- May be limited to only the manipulation of flame.
- May be limited to the increase of temperature.
- May only be able/unable to destroy flame.
- It's unclear if one is immune to fire themselves.
- May have limits on control if increased too large.
- Users may be overcome by Water Manipulation, Water Generation, Freezing, or Magma Manipulation.
- May be rendered useless in an oxygen depleted area
- One's personality could be affected by the ability
- One should be clear of the area to avoid burning an unattended target
Associations[]
Fire manipulation may eventually escalate into Fire Mimicry, and may have a sub power of Fire Breathing. Some users may mimic this skill with Thermal Manipulation, Thermal Resistance, Melting, Magma Manipulation, or Volatile Constructs. If combined with Earth Manipulation, it may lead to Magma Manipulation. If high enough level and/or combined with magic, the fire may advance to Hell-Fire Manipulation. If users manipulate the atoms in different ways, users may be able to develop Plasma Manipulation.
